The Congress State level disciplinary panel has recommended to the KPCC strong action against a party worker from Kozhikode who indulged in a defamatory campaign against AICC general secretary KC Venugopal through social media. To crush defamatory social media campaign The reports of the DCC presidents are going to be crucial in this regard. But the axe of party discipline will fall on those who are inactive and those who still indulge in anti-party activities. but rest assured I do not plan to be on the side lines.According to available indications, the party may not take stern action against those who have mended their ways and worked for the party selflessly during the last year. So what are we going to optimize over the next decade? My best guess is that it is going to be Computer Vision (trying to have computers do anything humans can by their visual acuity), Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality disrupting everything from entertainment (check out ), travel, shopping and even story telling (check out ).

Following this trend, self driving cars take the grunt out of going to any place and are supposed to make your time productive. This led to WhatsApp, MySpace, Facebook and a bunch of other micro - macro clones of those. We decided that we wanted the social fabric but wanted to do it on our time and space. First we got rid of the space constraint by voice conference channels (Skype, Hangouts). Socializing needed physical or virtual meetings with people synchronizing over time and potentially space. Lets take social fabric as the next example.

We then optimized the interaction layer leading us to the even simpler voice interfaces for executing these searches (Alexa and Google Home). We became tired of reading through books in order to find out answers to questions and hence was born the search engines and question clones such as and quora. Let us look at a few of these examples from the modern times.

Humans have been very creative about inventing technology that helps us achieve those ends while preserving the quality of such work or improving it in the process. Primarily, innovation is an outcome of optimizing grunt work and the innate sense of the human brain to be lazy and take short cuts. Instead I'm going to be sharing some of my thoughts on what I believe has and will be driving technology innovation for the foreseeable future. I'm not going to write about that, there is enough literature in the world talking about ML. As we learn, observe and get fooled more, the brain becomes better at picking up the small variations between correct and incorrect observations.

The brain is using previous experience to circumvent an in depth analysis in order to arrive at the final conclusion. This ability of the brain to be fooled is the "science" behind magic and illusions. The human brain tries to take any short cut it can to make a decision or come up with an observation.
